Taxi or Shuttle

We are flying into Miami airport and staying at the Days Inn Oceanside in Miami Beach. Does anybody know how much it would cost to take a taxi vs. a shuttle? Also from Miami Beach Days Inn to the Port of Miami? Any information on transportation for these two destinations would be great.

You can look up the distance to the port on the hotel website. Then call the 800 and ask if they offer a shuttle to the port

I believe a taxi will cost you $28 to Miami Beach - not cheap. You can take Super Shuttle, but they charge per person, so it may cost the same as a taxi. If you want to look up super shuttle go to http://www.supershuttle.com/htm/cities/mia.htm

DO NOT take the shuttle that Carnival offers! The buses are in terrible condition and they are very careless with the luggage.
