I'm going to do my first caribbean cruise on may on a carnival ship probably and would like some suggestions about what is the best itinerary eastern or western Caribe. I'm 32 traveling with a friend and also would like some advice about the Carnival ship you recomend
Anyone could help?
Personally I prefer the Southern, then Eastern and last western. More water activities on the western, while better shopping on the Eastern and Southern. Its really a personal preference, but since this will be your first cruise, it will all be new and you can do a different itinary on the next :-)
Here is also another link with great tips and information for a first cruise, hope this helps. Do let us know what ship you finally decide on, enjoy!
I PREFER EASTERN OVER WESTERN JUST TO GO TO ST THOMAS AND ST JOHN BEAUTIFUL PLACES GREAT SHOPPING ST THOMAS BEST EXPERIENCE SNORKELING ST JOHN SOUTHERN IS NICE BUT DO NOT CARE FOR SAN JUAN GOOD PLACE TO LEAVE FROM IF YOU CAN FIND EASTERN WITH ST THOMAS ST MAARTEN GOOD TRIP CAYMAN ISLANDS ON WESTERN IS VERY NICE DID NOT CARE FOR SHOPPING IN JAMAICA OCHO RIOS COZUMEL WAS FUN ARUBA CURACAO NICE IN SOUTHERN BUT I ALWAYS RETURN TO ST THOMAS AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE IT IS CALLED THE JEWEL OF THE CARRIBEAN AND IN MY EYES IS DEFINITELY IS
I like the Western. Went on the Celebration in 2000 on a western Itinerary. Now going on the Inspiration in April same Western. We loved it so much, want to go again. Just different ship. I like Carnival. We always have a good time. Char
