Just got my documents for my next cruise, Sept. 5 on the Fantasy... <document dance> I noticed that Carnival included the Bahamas immigration forms. All the posts I've read about this give me the impression that even if you fill them out in advance, at the port they will make you fill out new immigration forms. Is this true? What's everyone's experience with these forms? Should I bother to fill them out now?
Now posting as MichelleP.
In my experience, the bahamas forms are included in the ticket package. Fill it out, passport number being paramount, they rip it out when you check aboard along with all the other forms and that's the end of it. All you need to go ashore is your ship's ID and a government photo ID. The bahamian islands aren't really picky about who visits.
