I have read that taking a catamaran tour is more relaxing than the land/cat tour. Does anyone have any information on doing this in St Lucia independently? We will be there in Feb on the Volendamm. Thanks for any help. Jerilyn
The land/sea tours offered as excursions on most ships in St. Lucia are quite comprehensive. They go accross the island where you get to eat in an old Sugar Mill,
see the Botanical Gardens and waterfall, drive in to the volcanoe and see several of the towns and villages as well as banana plantations etc from the bus. The sea part is certainly a relaxing cruise with scenic stops in a few beautiful bays, view the Pitons from the water and a swimming stop.
A catamaran only excursion will certainly be beautiful and relaxing but you will miss a lot that cannot be seen from the sea.
