Hi Billie JO,
In Cozumel, there is snorkeling at Chanakaab park: http://www.cozguide.net/chankan.html. There is also the "dolphin swim" if that sounds interesting to you: http://www.dolphindiscovery.com/

You can take a cab to Chanakaab park and do a day there by yourselves or there are also ship excursions there too.

In Grand Cayman, be sure to book an excursion to snorkel with the Sting Rays, its a gas!

Here is also another link to a private company that does shore excursions:

Just returned last Sunday from these two ports plus Key West.
At Grand Cayman we did the Stingray City tour and really enjoyed it. At Cozumel we did the Mayan Ruins tour and found it very interesting. At the ruins if you can get Armando Chan as your tour guide you will find he is very well informed bieng part Mayan himself. Key West was chaos when we took the trolly tour of the city. Too many tourist and different tour groups got mixed together. Also got rained on and they would not let you open your umbrellas on the trolly. Go figure!

There is a tropical storm in the same area we were in last week. Hope you can avoid a storm as we were lucky enough to do.

I did the ruins tour in Cozumel as well. Booked it through the ship. If you're into history you'll enjoy it. The tour lasts several hours, though, and most of your time is spent getting to and from the ruins via ferryboat and bus.

Cheers,
Michelle B.

Scuba Diving is amazing in Grand Cayman. If you are a diver or would like to try it, this would be the place to do it!

Off The Wall Divers is one of the best operators, small and personal. Danny is a knowledge bank for wall dives and wreck dives, he treated us like gold!!!

If you're not a diver, you can also go horseback riding on the beach, awesome trip. Nicki's Beach rides is listed on the same website, I'd definitey recommend that too

Beach Horse Back Riding with Nicki

Enjoy your trip!!!

In Cozumel, try the Playa Sol beach club. $19 includes all non-motorized playthings AND all you can drink. Here is their web site:

In Cayman you must do a stingray tour. The original stingray city has water about 10' deep and the stingray sandbar has water only about 4' deep.

Hi, just went in August and had a great time.

In Cozumel we did a ships excursions (only way to go, much easier then doing it on your own) to XCaret on the main land (play del carmen). Its an awesome waterpark with snorkeling in an underground river, beautiful lagoons and beach and so much more.

In Grand Cayman we did the Stingray Sandbar...awesome..awesome..awesome.. Im actually going again in December and that will be on my list to do's...

Have a great time..
Paula
