Default SanJuan after 5PM

We won't be off the ship in San Juan until 4-5pm. We're not into bars/clubs - is there anything there to do?We'd consider just walking around but I heard that the old town isn't the safest after all the stores close.
Any ideas...?

Hi Ela,
There is a nice Wyndham right across the street from the pier, they have a nice casino if you care to spend some time in there??

If you like Tapas, Restaurante "Baru" is an incredibly great place. It is beautiful, has unbelievable food, attentive service, and moderate prices. It is in "Old Town."

We had no problems with safety at all. I have sent three pairs of friends there and none of them can stop raving about this happening place.

I used to host a lot of conferences when I lived in Puerto Rico. Especially during the winter.

I would open them by saying "There are a lot of things to do during an evening in San Juan, and if you do them, shame on you".

Hi, Ela ...

The stores stay open quite late.

Pueblo Viejo (Old City) is about as safe a place as you can be, so long as you stick to the more well-traveled streets.

Here are some ideas of things to do.

Keep in mind that it will be getting dark around 7 PM.
