Default Passports-Shore Excursions

Am 1st time cruiser--is it necessary to carry your passport on a shore excursion?
I'm a U.S. citizen. Ports are Barbados, St. Maarten, St. Lucia, St. Kitts?
Any info appreciated!

Hi Happy,
No, there is no need to carry your passport off the ship. Be sure though to take your sign and sail card, they will get you off and on the ship. If you cabin has a safe in it, just lock all your extra cash, credit cards and passports in there. Some cruisers like to make a copy of their passports and carry that with them.

Happy Cruising!
