(Sorry, another question...) Has anyone done the bike & kayak thing in Costa Maya? If so, how was it? Also, has anyone done the Kolonich ruins? They sound awesome but the excursion time is 7 hours long! Is it worth it?
wow - 7 hours does sound like a long time! We didn't take a tour but did rent bicycles for $15 each a year ago. Took us maybe 3 hours to see as much as we wanted and we were very lazy about going very far - only got as far as the fishing village of Majahual. Sounds like it could be a fun excursion though!
