The cable car is $15 up to the top which has a great view, a bar, and a gift shop. Great picture taking and it is within walking distance from pier. While in port you can see the cable cars going up to Paradise Point and it is easy to find when walking from the ship.

It's about a 10-15 minutes walk from the ship. You really can't miss it. The view is very pretty up there. There is a bar for drinks and snacks. Small shops and a pay phone to call home.

Attached is a picture I took in 2001. I was on the RCCL Enchancement of the Seas on the right and the Carnival Paradise, I was on in 2000, is to the left. Happy sailing.

It has a lot of info. and under frozen drinks, there is a printable coupon for a dollar off their " bushwacker " frozen thingee.
Bottoms up and enjoy.

Just an FYI, it's not to the top of the island. It is to the top of a major "hill/mt" beside the dock. The top of the island is at MountainTop. Rather than take the paradise tram, ask a cab driver to take you to Drake's Seat. It is a beautiful drive and the views are amazing, as you can overlook Magen's Bag. You can also go on up to Mt. Top, but it doesn't get any better than Drake's Seat.

I'd like to "second" Browzella's suggestion. There are some amazing vistas, not only from Drake's Seat, but at other locations along the drive. One view has you seeing Megan's Bay beach looking heart-shaped.
