My husband & I are taking a Western Caribbean cruise on Carnival's Paradise.
We go to Belize, Grand Cayman, Roatan & Cozumel.
I would like to know if you have to tender in to all those ports, or whether some have docks that accomodate the ship.
This has probably been asked before, but I didn't see it so I appreciate your patience in answering me.
Grand Cayman is a tendering port. Belize doesn't permit ships to anchor, or to cross, on the coral reef, so be ready to tender from even farther out than in GC. At Cozumel, Carnival ships usually dock at the Plaza Maya pier or the adjacent International Pier. Both are about 3 miles south of the main town. I have read some reports that if Coz is very crowded, tendering may take place. I know nothing about the other stops, sorry.
