What's your favorite swimming beach in Cozumel?

I will be in Cozumel in Decmber and am looking for a relaxing beach with plenty of white sand and water that is easy to swim around in.

Can anyone help me with ths search? I'm sure there has got to be some favories out there, where you can just kick back and soak up the sun

Gracias!

Chankanaab Park does not really have a beach. They had a swim lagoon for the children with a very small beach. You had to climb down ladders or go over a small block wall to get to the ocean. If you are looking for a true beach I would try Del Sol.

Some people from work went to San Francisco Beach and loved it....cost about $5 each I think and was relatively close by..........

We went to Play Sol in May.It is a very nice beach but very crowded. Lots of beach chairs all over the beach. We went a few years ago and liked it much more.

If you want a truly relaxing beach, take the tour to Passion Island. It runs about $70 per person but it is well worth it. It includes lunch and free drinks ( soda, water, or booze) , whichever you prefer. There is shade, hammocks and water mats to float on. We spent our day floating on the mats with a marguarita in our hands! The lunch that they privide is Chicken, burgers, fish, tacos, nachos, salad and fruit. It is very good. Also, the tour operators are very good. Before you head back to the ship, they break out the tequila! This tour may seem a little pricey for some but it is well worth it! We will definetly do this again!
