What to do in Roatan, Honduras

We are going to Roatan for the day in November. Any suggestions?

We took a ship excursion on Carnival Paradise to the Parrot Bay Beach Resort. Was kind of fun.

When we were there last month, we booked the ship tour (west end island tour). I DON"T recommend it - it was extremely boring and not worth the $$. OUr friends got off the ship and hired one of the taxi drivers on the pier to show them around. For $20, they had him show them all around and wait while they spent some time on the beach and at lunch. We got ripped off and as a result, didn't get to appreciate the island. Our friends on the other hand loved it.
