Palm Beach and Orient Bay

If I decide to take a cab to Palm Beach in Aruba, and a cab to Orient Bay while in St. Maarten, does anyone know about how long will it take to arrive at both beaches from the pier? Also, how much will it cost?

The car ride to Orient Beach is about to 20 min. and the drivs is very nice. It is about 5 dollars a person.

Palm Beach is about a 10 min ride & it cost $7 each way last year.

The cab ride to Orient Beach from the cruise terminal in Philipsburg, Dutch St. Maarten is much more than $5! It is about $18 for one to two persons. You can access the website for the taxi rates in St. Maarten -www.sxmtaxi.com/rate.htm

The taxi rate from the cruise terminal in Orangestaad, Aruba to Palm Beach is about right. Again, you can also access info on the taxi rates there by going to this website which has a link: www.aruba-bb.com
