Deep Sea Fishing- Fort Lauderdale?

My husband has always wanted to go deep Sea Fishing. We return from our cruise at 8am on a Sunday & don't fly out until Monday. Has anyone ever gone deep sea fishing out of Fort Lauderdale? Who would you recommend? There is a deep sea fishing @ Half Moon Cay but my husband felt that only 2 hours of fishing wasn't enough. Any Idea's would help. Thanks in Advance. Cheryl

My suggestion is to rent a car and drive the two hours south to Key Largo or Islamorada in the Florida Keys. The fishing is legendary there, and there is no shortage of charter boats waiting to take you out for a full day, half day, or however long you would like.

I caught many yellowtail, snapper, and grouper on our charter fishing trip. It was great fun.

You can call Mike 754-264-3635 he can set you up with a charter, or point you in the right direction! he works on alot of charter boats in the ft lauderdale area.
He fishes tournaments, swordfishing, local and Bahamas!
The guy is good, I think one day they came in with 9 flags flying....9 sailfish caught and released!!!
