Palm Island, the Grenadines

Have any of the readers here been to Palm Island? We're considering our first real vacation in 12 years. As an all-inclusive, its expensive, ($850/day) but the Beachfront Cottages are right on the beach, but a wonderful plus is the lack or TVs and telephones in all rooms.
Any first hand info would be appreciated....
