River tubing in Jamaica

Hi,

My husband and I have booked an excursion to go tubing down the YS river in Jamaica. Has anyone done this before? How safe is it and what kind of wildlife might we run into? I'm getting a little nervous about this and would like some reassurance. Thanks for your help...we are sailing this Saturday.
