Default Panama Canal

Hi there. I'm going on the RCCL Brilliance of the Seas in December and one of our days we are cruising the Panama Canal with a stop at the Pier as well. I was wondering what the best excursion for that port is. Any info could help. Thanks

Default Re: Panama Canal

When you get off the ship there will be dozens of tour operators near the pier. We opted to walk past the crowd and moved out toward the street. There we met George who piled us into his cab and drove us to the Locks and all over Colon for $40. He waited for us while we watched ships pass through the locks, he stopped at the Cathedral, a Hindu temple, and other sites, all the while telling us about the city and its history. It was a great tour for much less than those offered closer to the pier.
