Been there a bunch. It's nice, can get crowded, but plenty of hammocks to use. There is a Barbeque area (not free) and snorkeling. The lagoon is nice for swimming. The island is a private enterprise so everything is for a charge. You can rent life jackets, snorkel, paddlewheel boats, canoes. There is a small store for basic essentials. There is a bar. Usually has a band playing or some other entertainment.

Regards,
Thomas

I've been its nice. There is couple of activities that you can do there. For exampleSnorkeling, Water paddling (you know you sit in the boat and paddle), I'm not too sure how you call it.
Not too far away you can see the dolphin program on your way in.
Have fun.

We are sailing during the week of February 8th, and we plan to have a dolphin encounter at Blue Lagoon. Has anyone done this? Good or bad experience? OhioTim

The dolphen encounter was wonderful in Nassau and well worth the $$.Best to book directly with the co. before the cruise, as it is very popular and fills up fast.
