Default Spices

We will be cruising the S. Carib in May. Will I be able to purchase spices
and bring them back to the U.S.?

Grenada is your Spice Island. If your itinerary includes this port, this is the place to stock up on various whole spices. Although I found Vanilla to be expensive there.
There will be vendors on Grand Anse beach $2 water taxi, and many at the port. Bargain for your best deals. I even have shell adorned necklaces with nutmeg and spices on it that make great souvenirs (2 for $5). I had one hanging in the kitchen for that Potpouri type aroma.
Bon Voyage
