Default Eastern Carib

I'll be on the Triumph 3/14 we'll be stopping in San Juan, St. Thomas, and St. Maarten.
Anyone have any "can't miss" spots, or excursion ideas??

St Maarten - Don't miss Maho Beach by the SXM airport. Pics: www.sunsetbeachbar.com The closest place in the world you can get to huge airplanes landing over the beach

St Thomas - take the ferry to St John. Lots of beaches to visit. Descriptions of each beach: www.vinow.com (Our personal favorite is Cinnamon Bay) Or stay on St Thomas. Many people (including my husband and I) have enjoyed Godfrey's tour of St Thomas for $20 each. www.godfreytoursvi.com

We have pics of our previous cruises to St Maarten, St Thomas, and St John on our webpage: www.cmgoddard.com Some pics can be found on the main page (land-vacation to St John) while the others can be found on the "Wedding" and "Cruises" pages. (The wedding was on St John with a tour by Godfrey on St Thomas later in the day).

Have fun!!

Beautiful pictures! Thanks for the info. Does the Godfrey tour need to be booked in advance- and if so,how far?
Do you think its better to grab a cab in port to get to the beaches, or to the excursion?

We booked on-line w/Godfrey before we left town. However, another couple wanted to go also once they heard about us going - they got on-line while on the ship & booked w/him.

Just back from Eastern on the Golden Princess. Definitely go to St. John. We went to Trunk Bay and think it is the most beautiful beach.

If you do prefer to just tour around take Godfrey, heard he is great.
