My wife and I are loooking for a quiet sandy beach to head to after snorkeling in Cozumel. We've heard that Playa Escondida was perfect for this, but can't find any info. Any suggestions at all would be great. Thanks!
I went to a beach called.. Nachhio or something.. I can't really remember, wasn't really paying attention. NOt many people know about it. its about a 15$ cab ride from the ship, but it was really quiet, gorgeous white sand. I spent the day floating on my back in the ocean.. listening to the sounds of the water. Ask the cab driver in Cozumel. Its not NACHO beach..its like..nachhi or Nachhio. clearly i'm not much help here..sorry!
Try to go to Passion Island you will be out of this world. Everything is included for all day
a marvelous place for the water lovers. have a nice cruise. mateli
When you go to a secluded or out of the crowds location & get dropped off how do you get back? What if the driver does not return or does the driver wait? Hope to do some beaches on our own next cruise & were curious about this. Always worried we will miss the ship departure
I have found (with help from those who live there) that by the time you pay a taxi to get you to a secluded beach, then get a cab to a lunch spot, then back to a beach, then to the ship, then you've spent enough money to rent a car. We've got a VW convertible for $45/day. We get it and drop it off close to the dock. I think it's the way to go! (we see if I'm right May 16th!)
