Default Yellowbird Excursion, Nassau?

Help... has anybody taken this excursion and have comments on it? Of course the unlimited rum punch caught my eye, but there is more to life than boozin' and cruisin', or so someone once told me. It didn't sound right, but everyone's entitled to an opinion, right?

When we were there three years ago, we signed up for an excursion to Blackbeards Cay. Ours was cheaper than the Yellow bird and maybe not quite as long. Turns out the Yellow bird went to the same place we did on a little Island called Blackbeards Cay and partied with us. The difference we found out was they had the rum punch and maybe cruised around it the water a little longer. So if you are a drinker, it might be for you. Three years ago they had a nice beach bar and beach volleyball and a band and just a giant beach party is what it was. We had bad weather so couldn't do any water sports there but I think they had stuff you could do. We just listened to the music and watched the "Yellowbird" people stagger around!

Hi Luanne,

I'm still chuckling at your post... had a mental picture of the Yellowbird passengers providing an "unadvertised entertainment feature" for you. I just hope it was on the amusing side and not something to detract from the atmosphere. It's a shame your options were limited by the weather. I do like a drink or 2 when the mood & company are right right, but as dh never touches the stuff, he probably wouldn't sign on for this with any enthusiasm. Thanks for the insight!

I went on the Yeloow bird in 2001 and it was a great party. There was unlimited rum punch. The weather was great, the beach fun and on the way back we has quite a party going on the top deck. Some of the girls were flashing their boobs and it was quite wild. I went back to the pool deck on the Majesty of the Seas, tried to sober up and failed. I threw up in the cabin, passed out and woke to my wife dressed for formal night eating room service. I slept on the pool deck that night. So take my advice and take this excursion and then you can end up single again like me.
