Default Port Canaveral

We booked a cruise on the Fantasty 10/31/04 and are going to be in Florida the day before. Does anyone know any nice hotels and fun things to do around Port Canaveral???

Comfort inn in Cocoa Beach is nice, they have a Cruise special rate that you can leave your car parked in a secured lot if you drive there, they offer free shuttle to the ship and pick you up when you get back. It's only 4 miles from the port and just across the street from the ocean and the beach.

We'll probably be staying at the Hampton Inn a few miles away from the port. The Rad. is booked. We've stayed there before. They have free shuttle to the port as well. Looks to be a nice hotel. You can also leave your car there.
We went to Ron Jon's too.

Have fun!

We are staying at Ron Jon's Resort at Port Canaveral, I heard it was a GREAT place also. You can also park and cruise there. They say you can see all the ships from the resort as they depart and arrive in port.

We stayed at the Radisson last year. You can see the ship from the place (at least some ships) and you can park free at the Radisson. They will take you to and from the ship.
