SCOOTERS in St. Maarten

I am traveling to the Eastern Carr. in Dec and would like to know if anyone has rented scooters in St. Maarten (specifically at the Philipsburg pier). I know they are somewhat dangerous but I have owned one for several years and am confident enough to drive one down there. Any help is appreciated!!!!! Thanks.

I rented one for the day last year, it was $55 cash or credit , ive also rented a jeep before, thats your better bet becuse you can make it ti the french side of the island faster and have more time to play!

How much did it cost to rent a jeep, and which side of the island is better (have two teenage boys)
