Which seven mile beach are you referring to? Most all inclusive resorts have day passes though.

Costa Atlantica, 3/23/03
Brilliance, 2/16/04
Brilliance, 2/14/05
Brilliance, 2/13/06
Brilliance, 2/12/07

Check out this web site, and it should help you to get some info for the Caymans: http://grandcaymancruiseexcrsions.com It should help you out with information. When we were in Grand Cayman this may, we just took a taxi over to the public part of 7 mile beach. Was a $4.00 charge pp there and back. The taxi's are all waiting at the pier to take you. I think the locals will also have information on the hotels with day passes.

We didn't have much time on the island, had to leave by 1:00PM. Next time, I hope to be able to stay longer to enjoy the island more!

Have a great cruise!

Nearly all the 'All-Inclusives hotels offer day passes, they are around US60-75p.p.
You do NOT need to go 'All inclusive' on the beach...any hotel allows entry to the beach for no charge...it the law!

I agree...it is a public beach w/public access so there's no need to pay $$$ for a "pass". We too just took a taxi and asked them to drop us off at a public access point. We then lazed around on the beach and swam for a bit and then walked along the beach for about a mile or so in the direction of Georgetown. After awhile we went back up to the main road and hailed a taxi (they're mini vans) for teh rest of the way back to the pier. Did some shopping and got back on the ship.

the only advantage of the "day pass" is access to the hotels "facilities". 7-mile beach is a public beach so bring your beach towel, and your beach bag.
