Default Docking at Calica-What did you do?

Hi all you great cruisers!

We will be docking at Calica. If you've been on a ship that has docked there, what was your "course of action"/"game plan" from there?

Thanks for any info..........Happy Cruizing!

We rented a car for the 5 of us and drove to the Mayan ruins at Tulum. Had a wonderful day there and saw unbelievable sites. Highly recommend Tulum whether you go as part of an organized excursion or do it yourself, as we did. Wore our swimsuits under our clothes and took a dip in the ocean there to cool off (rough surf, not really able to "swim"). Rental car place, taxis, were all right there as you got off the ship with just a few "tent" type set-ups with vendors. Otherwise there is nothing at this port, it truly is a rock quarry of some sort, not set up for tourists unless you're going somewhere.
