Hey everyone, DH and I booked a southern Caribbean cruise yesterday that's sailing in January 2005. Just thought I'd ask you guys for any suggestions you have for shore excursions in the area, since we have never been to a lot of these islands. Specifically, we're wondering about Antigua, Barbados, Grenada, Dominica and Tortola (BVI). If I can save some money by booking shore excursions through independant agencies that would be prime. Also has anyone been on an excursion that they would recommend not missing at these ports? Thanks in advance!

Go to the Library and get the Fordors book on the caribean or any of the books in the Travel section and read up on the Islands that you are going to .That is what we do.Then when it is close to taking the cruise we will check out the books again and take them with us,use it as your tour book. You can compare between the books.
