Default dolphin swim in antigua

Hi there, we are going on aos in sept and are very interested in doing dolphin swim. I am not sure if we should book through cruise or on our own? We will have time after to explore, what would you suggest? We like beaches and snorkeling will have 1/2 day left to see antigua. If you have any other suggestions for southern caribbean excursions that would be helpful. Thanks , Happy cruising!!!!!!!!!!
