Default Margaritaville, Jamaica

Just wondering if Margaritaville is mostly for adults and a real party atmosphere, or can my husband and I take my 8 yr old daughter there too? I've heard alot about the huge water slide and how much fun this place is!

When we were there back in Dec, there was no one in there at all. It may have been to early too (not sure what time it was). It did look pretty cool though. If you go around lunch time, it should be pretty calm-not the late night party scene. Of course there may be a few having a good time!

There are three mararitaville's in Jamaica. I have only been to Ocho Rios. It was a party atmosphere , (this was in the afternoon). I didn't notice any children there, but that doesn't mean there weren't any. The crowd was having a good time, but everyone seemed to be 'behaving' i.e. nothing going on that would emotionally damage an 8 yr old.

There is a web site for the jamaica margaritaville's http://www.margaritavillecaribbean.com/

Absolutely no reason in the world why an 8-year-old should not go to Margaritaville (Jamaica ... been to the ones in MoBay & Ocho Rios) on a DAYTIME cruise stop!

Childen have FUN on the water toys and yours won't be the only child around.

Have Fun! WSEA

Anyone know average drink prices there? We are stopping in Montego Bay October 10th.

As you would expect, it's expensive. I think I paid about $10 for two Margaritas. But it was worth it, I can say I've been there, done that.
