We did the Stingray Sandbar & Snorkel trip with Soto's Cruises. It was $24/pp and we had a blast. There were about 14 on our boat. They pick you up at the pier and return you there when the trip is done. Was about 2 hours. Did 2 snorkel sites and the stingray sandbar.

In Cozumel we went to Chankanaab park which was great. You can snorkel right off the beach. This is also where they have the dolphin swim. We didn't do it there as we had gone the year before in Nassau. I highly recommend it. It was one of the best experiences of my life. Chankanaab park has restrooms, lockers, showers, beach chairs, shade huts, restaurants and bars. There are other excursions available there too. We did the Sea Trek which was a lot of fun.

Hope this helps.

Darcy

Interested in your comments re Chakanaab Park, is this the place where there is an entrance fee, if so how much is it please? We were on the Inspiration Jan 25 '04 and whilst in Cozumel went to Mr Sanchos, have you ever visited there? Anyway, we loved the cruise so much we are taking our family with us this coming Jan and going on the Miracle too (on 16 Jan) when will you be on it?

Regards

Veronica

We did the Atlantis sub in Grand Cayman and regretted it. The colors were shades of swimming pool blue.
