Default Margarita Island

I am sailing on Princess week of September 12 and one of the ports is Margarita Island. Does anyone know if I can do the dolphin swim by going with a tour at the pier instead of booking it through the cruise company? Some excursions companies have an agreement with the cruise lines, e.g., Atlantis Submarine.

The cruise is charging $110.00 US p/p and there's 2 adults, not to mention we are from Canada so the cost is much higher with the dollar conversion.

Any advise would be much appreciated.
