Default San Juan Transfers

We are going on Constellation over Thanksgiving. Has anyone used taxi's from airport to ship? What is the cost? Can they handle a family of 5 or am I better off getting the transfers from the cruise line?

Thanks for your help

Steve

We always take the cab[two people]The cab is faster you dont have to sit and wait for the bus .You may need two cabs unless there is a van.The cost was $20.When you get off of the ship the cabs are there waiting for you.

Hi Steve,
As soon as you pick up your luggage there is a stand for taxi's inside. YOu need to go there and they will write out a slip for a taxi, in your case most likely 2 with the charges, price depends on how many pieces of luggage you have and then you just need to add a tip. Its very easy and once you have your slip, you go out and get your taxi's, also quicker than waiting for the bus to fill before you can leave. For the 2 of us it was around $20, plus tip.

There were a lot of vans available as taxis in June and they didn't seem to have trouble accomodating larger groups quickly.

Several taxis were mini vans & seemed to be able to fit 5 people plus stuff.
