The last time i cruised i got a hotel through priceline, (Last May) for only $45, about $60 with tax at the Embassy Suites Airport. It was a great hotel, rooms were large, there was a free happy hour, a great pool, and inside there was a ton of plants and ponds where they had goldfish. I would stay there again in a heartbeat, I will be cruising again on Jan. 2nd in Miami and i have been looking at hotels in the area, but can't seem to find as good of a deal as last time, i suppose that's because i need a room on New Year's day. Good luck!
Priceline Downtown 3* Miami Hyatt Regency for 2 nights precruise Jan.21&22/05. US$46plus taxes&fees=$55/night It looks very nice on the Hyatt website and I have heard good things about it. Go to .betterbidding. and look around that helpful site for PL & Hotwire info. I still have to get 1 night postcruise in Miami still. Good luck.

VALOR Jan/05-our first family cruise was great!
Hyatt is a great hotel. You won't be disappointed. The free Metromover (monorail) is right next door. Room was clean and we had a balcony, which was nice.
We just did priceline for a hotel in miami. We're paying 58 dollars, (73 w/tax) for the embassy suites at the airport. Pretty good for a three star hotel. And it includes free breakfast
I stayed in that hotel in January for my last cruise. Got it on Priceline for $40 per night. It was extremely nice- we felt like we were ripping off the Hyatt for being there so cheaply, the service was topnotch and we got an excellent room with a small terrace.
