We are taking the coral Princess in March and I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with specific tours while we are in the Panama area. Has anyone taken the boat tour right to the Pacific? We ahve made a full transit before but our friends have never been. do you see enough of the locks from the ship?
About seven years ago we took the Primier line [no longer in business]cruise into the Gaton Locks.We were able to get off the ship and go into the Gaton Yatch club.From there we went to the gaton locks for a tour.It was really an intering tour,O nthe way back we swim at the yatch club.I now have a T shirt that says "I swam in the Panama canal"
