Default Roatan beaches

Going to be in Roatan from 7:00 am -3:30 PM. Ideas for fun...beach ideas? Do any of the beaches have jet ski rental? What were your island experiences for activities for this time frame? Thanks...P.S. family of 5 with boys ages 18, 16, 11. Thanks.

We hired a taxi to Half Moon Bay....amazing snorkeling here, best of our cruise....our driver dropped us off at a place that was free to use, had a small restaurant/bar, steps right into the water, outdoor fresh water shower, lounge chairs etc. You could see Half Moon Bay Beach from where we were...not too much there other than sand and snorkeling. Afterwards we walked toward West End Village (5-10 min walk) and browsed the shops...what a cool little place. We kept walking toward the end of town and picked up a water taxi to West Bay Beach. Lunch at Bite on the Beach was affordable and memorable...right on the water. Hung out on the beach and grabbed a cab back to Coxen Hole. It was an AMAZING day in paradise!!! We fell in love with Roatan!

We had the best time at Roatan. There is a guy as soon as you get off the ship that will take you out to his beach and resturant. I can't remember his name but you can't miss him. He jumps up and down on one leg on the peir as soon as you get off the ship. I think it was like $20 and it included a lobster lunch at his resturant. He is a very interesting guy and performs a show for you while you are eating. The cruise ship warned about going past the fence without a tour group but we incountered no problems with any of the natives. We had a very nice time there.
