Thinking of going to Bermuda in the third week of September. Due to work constraints I cant go the 1st or 2nd week in Sepetmber. Prices for July and August were higher. How is the weather that late in September? Do you have to worry about hurricanes then also? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
We went to Bermuda two years ago the second week in September, our usual week.... and ended up in Bermuda North...lol. The end of September the weather will still be warm and probably humid.. Frankly, I think it's the best time..although we went in June this year and had perfect weather.
Yep - you are smack dab in the middle of Hurricane season & Bermuda is right in the hurricane belt.
Be prepared for the possibility of having your trip cut short if the ship has to race home to outrun a hurricane. And having to deal with ocean swells if that's the case. I would never, ever cruise during hurricane season. With 4 hurricanes last year in the Caribbean, there were tons of cancellations, islands being changed, lots of sick passengers, etc.
