We're going on our Caribbean cruise in the 2nd half of March and we're unsure about the weather during that period.
As the weather was great in January 2004 when we went there (specially when you compare it to the cold and wet weather in The Netherlands) we think the weather should be even better in March.
Anyone can confirm this statement, or will the weather be worse ?
Thanks for your help !
Sailed on :
La Palma, Amerikanis, Southern Cross, Azur (2),
Bolero, Calypso (2), Carnival Victory
We sailed out of New Orleans March 23, 2003. New Orleans was raining hard. 1st day at sea was pissy. After that it was sunburns and hangovers! Bring a can of solarcain with you! There wasn't any at any of the ports.
We booked the same cruise again too. We sail on April 17th!
frank- Solarcaine is a sunburn product., it comes in spray and gel (i think). It takes the sting out of your burn, it contains benzocaine or lidocaine (i think) to dull the pain. Personally i don't like the stuff, i have had much better results with Aloe burn gel, keep it in your cabin fridge or on ice. It cools and helps heal your sunburn, and it feels soo good on hot skin.
