fort lauderdale after cruise

My wife and I will be returning from So. Carib. on Carnival Legend on 3-3-05. Our flight home does not depart until 5:15 PM. Any suggestions for shopping, sightseeing , etc after disembarkment? Where could we store our luggage? Thanks for your ideas.

We took the ship's excursion which involved a bus & boat tour of Ft Lauderdale with a very knowledgeable guide.. It was really great. We disembarked in an early group, got our luggage to the bus & off we went...frop off was at your airline terminal Even got to seee the ship we left sititng at port waiting for the next lucky group to come on board..The boat trip alone on the Carrie B was worth it & it filled the time...You will still be early but can wait a bit, check in & eat...

look into a ships excursion. They take care of everything and drop you and your luggage at the airport.
