Default Chankanaab or Nachi Cocum in Cozuemel?

We are deciding between Chankanaab or Nachi Cocum while we are in Cozumel. We will be travelling with our 3 year old daughter so we really want a nice beach with clean water, food options, clean bathroom , a pool would be great too....etc. My husband gets antsy at the beach so if they rented water toys such as kayaks, windsurfers etc. that would be a bonus. Also, we wouldn't mind a bar to enjoy a cold beer/cervasa!
Which we would you recommend?
Thanks in advance-

We loved Chankanaab, but it's a marine preserve so the snorkeling is great, but your husband won't find water doys there. No pool there either.

Go to cozumelinsider.com At this site you can compare all the beaches and what they have to offer. Mister Sanchos is always a favorite of ours. It is a $10.00 cab ride and free entrance. The restaurant is very good and the beach is gorgeous.

Just returned from Nachi Cocun and they have a pool with swim up bar. They will try to sell you the all-inclusive plan but we went with pay as you go. They requested that you spend 15.00 per adult to use their facilities. Very nice place for kids. They had a playground there. They have everything your husband wants.

Chankanaab National Park is the best. We just returned from our cruise with 2 boys ages 4 & 2. They both loved Chankanaab. We took a cab from the pier (around $10) and the park was only 5 minutes away. We never made by the beach with the boys. They have a wonderful sheltered clean beach area which is maybe 2 1/2 feet deep at most and packed with fish. Just on the other side is terrific snorkling. My husband rented equipment for the day ($8) and said it was a best snorkling ever. This kept him busy. The park also has lockers for rent if you take lots of stuff. The Park also has great hiking trails, gardens (jungles according to my son), a great lagoon full of fish and iguanas everywhere. The park also has several restarants. We ate a a place right on the beach under a cabana with a mariachi (sp) band playing for us. The mexican food was great. We would like to go back for a full vacation - not just the day.
