Beaches in San Juan?
 

I'm departing from San Juan in May on RCCL I'm wondering if there are any beaches in or around the san Juan area. We arrive in San Juan at 12pm and leave port around 11pm. Thanks

We stayed an extra night after our ship got back to San Juan and stayed at the Wyndham El San Juan and it was fabulous. The have several pools, with swim-up bar and swim-up tables for eating, plus lounge chairs with flags on the back you can raise for service. If you don't want to be in the pools, then walk 20 feet down a path and you're on the beach! They have attendants there too to hand out chairs and things. We loved it there.

What is the beach like there? White sand, waves, rocky, drop off? Did you try it?

The name of the beach up there is Isle Verdi,Yes it is clean and and a nice beach.

how far is Wyndham El San Juan from the pier. Is it on Isla Verde? If its not how far is Isla Verde fom the pier? Thank you for the info!!

The Wyndham is in Isle Verdi.From the docks it is about a 15 min ride by taxi[cabe fare about $20 each way ]or take the city bus$.25 each way. and maybe a 25 min ride.
