Beach towels- Bring our own or not?

THis might sound like a petty question, but we want to do the right thing. We are going on RCC to Western Caribbean next week and can't remember if we should bring beach towels or not? What are the pros and cons? Does the ship supply them? Any other points or suggestions?

Carnival supplies their own that you can use around the pool or on a beach. We sailed Royal Carribean to Alaska and we didn't worry about beach towels then. I'd say that Royal Carribean provides your beach towels.

No problem. Don't take beach towels with you. First of all, around the pool, they have towels available for everyone. Secondly, they give two beach towels per room that you can use off the ship at beaches, etc. Just don't loose them or it will cost you about $30 each. The ones around the pool on board you just use and then throw in a receptacle provided. They wash them and next day there are hundreds more around the pool. Good luck and have fun. Tim

We just sailed on Princess - and they supply beach towels. You get 2 per room (you can always ask for extra...we did) each day. We brought them to the islands with us and brought them back to the ship.

I bring my own. I buy cheap ones at a discount store. If you lose a towel they charge you about $30. I've heard of some people getting their towels stolen off the beach by others who lost theirs. I don't want to worry about towels on vacation so I bring my own.

i know canival suppy towels for the pool and shore tours so you don't have bring your beach towels
