I am interested in taking the Godfrey tour in St. Thomas. We will be sailing on the Carnival Glory in July and wont dock in St. Thomas untill 10 am. Does anyone who has taken this tour know if that means we wont have very much shoping time. Most likely we wont be off the ship untill 11 and from what i read he picks you up from shopping at twelve to start the tour. I was hoping for more then one hour of shopping time. Any information would be helpful. Thanks
Your ship seems to be docking a little later than the times I have been there. We have docked at 8:00 a few times, which makes a noon tour appropriate (for an 8:00 arrival). The last time, arriving at 8:00, we were off the ship at 8:15. Godfrey's tour is worth it. We had his services for our wedding group after our wedding and everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed his tour.
I used Godfrey and loved him. He is very accomodating. He is dressed great and so polite.
Email him and he will set it all up via email. All we did was get off the ship, he had our name on a board and off we went.
So so worth it.
we took Godfreys tour last May. It was marvellous . He picks you up at the dock at either 9, 10 or 11 am for shopping in Charlotte Amalie. Everyone who is shopping meets at a designated spot at noon, and then he takes you for a tour and your choice of 3 beaches- Magen's Bay, Sapphire Beach and Coki Beach. We chose Coki Beach and the snorkelling was unbelievably good- you can feed the fish with giant dog biscuits that they sell there. The drinks were very good too- Pistachio Daquiri. It cost us $20 US each plus a tip and was well worth it. It looks like you will only get 1hr shopping though. You can book him through his website.
