My husband, two daughters (8 anbd 2) and I spent the day on Paradise Beach in December and honestly it was almost physically painful to leave! I have been all over the Caribbean and have never been to a more pristine, peaceful, well-serviced beach. It was beautiful! The food was great, lots to do (or nothing at all) for everyone. In fact, we're trying to decide between another cruise for our vacation next year or just going to Cozumel to hang out on Paradise Beach.
I almost forgot....this is not a good beach for snorkeling. If you go out to the buoys you do see some sea-life, but there are much better places for snorkeling in Cozumel.
We just got back on the 2/19/05. Spent the whole day at paradise beach. It was great!! Lots to do, or just relax in a hammock. Not very crowded and the service was great!
I have several pics if you're interested-just e-mail me
Let me tell you we just came from there, I mean just got off the ship Thursday, we loved Paradise beach!
It is a free beach, do not lsten to the taxi drivers, a group of 16 people from our ship asked them to take them to a free beach, He took them to a beach and after they were there an hour a person came up and told them it would be 5.00 per chair they were laying out on!
Paradise bech only charges 5.00 if you want to use the equipment, I used the kayaks, my five year old and I paddled around it was great. They did not charge for him.
We ate lunch there, it was wonderful. They will bring it right to your chair if you want. We had fish tacos, wonderful.
Clear blue water, beach chairs with umbrellas, clean restrooms, truly Paradise.
