eastern caribbean cruise sept 2005

Going on first cruise ever and really excited! Would like to hear from others regarding tips on things to see and do, prices etc., Also would like to hear from anyone booked for same cruise Carnival Sept 18, 2005

Don't miss Paradise Point in St. Thomas. You can walk from the cruise ship, take
a tram to the top. The view is to die for. NOT to be missed.

Great tour for St. Thomas is Godfrey. He only charges $20 per person and well worth it. Shopping, tour of the island and beach. He was wonderful.

If stopping in St Maarten, head to Maho beach for a really close up experience with airplanes. The beach is at the end of the runway and its pretty impressive to watch huge planes come in for a landing. Take offs can be scary as Ive seen people hanging on to the fence and getting sand blasted. Theres a little bar (Sunset Bar I believe and they have a website with photos of planes) there which has great burgers.
