I just called Atlantis resort in Bahamas. They said that our family of 6 (2 adults and 4 kids) could purchase a single day of use room with them while we are there.
It would be from what ever time we arrrive till 6pm that evening.
It would include use of everything there plus use of the room of course.
The price is $250 in the royal section and $200 in the Coral section.
Broken down that works out to $33.33 per person, far better than Royal Caribbean's excursion price of $76 per adult and $56 per child, not to mention a room to clean up in afterwards. Has anyone else done this? is it worth it?
Atlantis looks really nice and fun.
After further researc I found this info more confusing so I re-called Atlantis.
The front desk manager stated that this is only good up to 4 person, no matter the age. So I would have to do 2 rooms!
Now at $400-$500 for only a few hours of fun, Atlantis can keep thier waterslides and I'll go elsewhere!
If this option intigues you, look into the same room at the Comfort Suites across the road. They have reciprocal agreement with Atlantis for facility use. It may be cheaper.
I just book day passes at The Crystal Palace. I booked it direct with them.
Cost $159 for all 6 total for everything, full use of facilities and includes a room till 6pm. Now if I had done this with royal caribbean it would have cost me $252 w/o room. To me thats a nice difference. Will make for a nicer lunch and have a room to clean up in after the beach is a nice touch. Glad I am a bargain hunter!
We did room at Comfort Suites for Atlantis full use. We had a AAA rate. We only had 4 and broke it down evenly between us. I want to say it was around 73.00 each but there is no excursion on any ship that includes ALL of Atlantis, so we felt price was more than fair.
