Default Conquest? Spring Break crowds?

Hello all,

We'll be leaving in a few days for our Western Carribean cruise on The Conquest. Anyone have any helpful hints?

I have read that it's hard to navigate around the ship. Any thoughts?

If you cruised over Spring Break, is it super crowded?

Thanks for any thoughts.

We were on this cruise during spring break 2003 and were told that it had the second highest number of passengers ever. Whether true or not, the ship was full, but it did not seem too crowded. We're going again this spring break!!

Edward,

Thanks. I've been so busy figuring out shore excursions that I never thought that this ship might be different than our last experience. We sailed on the Pride and never had trouble getting deck chairs or anything. That's one of our favorite parts, just sitting around doing nothing on deck.

Annie, I've been researching the Conquest, as I'll be sailing on it in June. From what I've read, you can only go from end to end on certain decks. So, that's where people are getting confused. Just keep your deck plan handy until you figure it out. You know, I think I'm obsessed with reading out my trip. I had a dream that I couldn't find the dining room on the first night...kept going on the wrong elevators, stairs.......!!!!

Cali,

I can relate to the "obsessed" part. Sometimes I think a little bit of knowledge is dangerous. When we went on our first cruise, I didn't worry a bit, now I'm consumed with getting everything right.

I'll be sure and post when I get back and let you know.

Venice, that is so true about kids (). They always know where everything is!

Good question!

We are going on the NCL Dream on 25th of March. We have an 8, 7, and a 5 year old and we don't want them to have the spring break experience that you see on TV, if you know what I mean.

Is there anyone out there who took a cruise last year during spring break?
