Default 1st time cruiser question

WE book our flight and cruise through Carnival. They are flying us into Miami the Saturday before the Cruise, and then taking us to the cruise ship on Sunday. Has anyone else booked the package through Carnival? Do they pick you up at the airport and take you to the hotel, and then pick you up the next day to transport you to the port? Not sure, so if anyone has any info it would be appreciated!

we did this a few years ago. Yes there were carnival people waiting in baggage claim, we got our bags and went outside to buses that then took us to the hotel(there were a fair amount of people) then we took a taxi to south beach area for dinner. Then the next morning we waited in line at the hotel and then boarded a bus to the cruise terminal then registered and off to the ship we went. We came from CA so we had to go in the day before. You will have a great time. Which ship & ports are you doing?

Thanks for the information Tami! We're flying out of North DAkota, that is why Carnival is puttting us up in Miami on Saturday. We're taking the Western CArribean on the Valor, Nov. 27th. The ports will be Belize, Grand Cayman, Roatan and Conzumel-We're really looking forward to our first cruise!!!

We booked our cave tubing through Reggie Tours in Belize-it sounds like a great time!

I think we'll book the Stingray City tour through Captain Marvins in Grand Cayman.

We're not sure what we plan in Roatan, but we think we'll just wing it when we get to Cozumel-hit the beach, do some shopping and then hit Carlos and Charlies before getting back to the ship!

Any ideas for Roatan?

Lori
