I have heard that you can get many prescription medications in Belize. Has anyone out here done this? I have a few things that I pay a high price for here even with my insurance! What can I expect to pay? Also, if you did visit a pharmacy how close were they to the port? and please no lectures on buying meds from other countries...go to the gripe board for that....I never read it, I have negativity.
There are 2 pharmacies right at the pier. The only item I bought that is rx in the states is retin-a and I paid $8. I also bought an arthritis cream that is not available here that is incredible. I just ordered some from there.
What is the arthritis cream you got if you don't mind telling me. I have been really bothered lately by mine. Did you order by mail? Was the creme over the counter or did you have to see a doctor there to get a prescription?
As stated above 2 pharmacies are in spittin' distance of the pier. One is run by a young woman from Baton Rouge, LA who married a Belizian. You can buy almost anything there including diet pills without a prescription. They have a website, which I have forgotten, but if memory serves me correctly you can access it via belize.com
