There is a web site that I like it is: www.govisitcostarica.com
Depending on where and how long you stay. Many different side trips.
It is a beautiful country. we used to live there in San Josť. You can drink the water too.
I went to the Sloth Sanctuary, I love animals and ecco tours, I was hoping to hold a sloth for a photo but they would not let us, 9maybe cause of liabiltiy) I did however pose with other people who were holding them and took wonderful photos and movies. It's educational, you view a movie about the sanctuary and sloths, then take a short canoe ride on a tiny river where we saw crabs, lizards, birds and got rained on (hey it's the rain forest so pack a dollar store poncho cause they sell the same ones there for $3.00) then we got to meet Buttercup the spokes sloth for the sanctuary she is adorable and looks like she is smiling, then we sampled fruit (though I wouldn't reccomend it, it tastes great but my system got a bit of Montezumas revenge when home from the cruise) we also tasted the wonderful Costa Rican Coffee, and saw the baby sloths, too cute!!! I've also heard wonderful things about the Tourargo Canal tours if you can find one of those, these two tours are better then the canopy tour for viewing animals. Canapy tour you will lots of trees. Have fun!
