Default Nassau zoo, snorkle or Dolphins?

Going to be in Nassau 12-6pm
If there is time I would like to swim with the dolphins on Blue Lagoon Island, otherwise I've hear the zoo is small but nice, I've to this port before and don't care to gamble, shop or go to the straw market again. Not interested in seeing Atlantis would rather be close to nature and animals.I like to snorkle if there are any good sites with lots of fish, but in December will the water be cold? What do you think?
